Questions
Can I use my glasses prescription for contacts?
No. Contacts sit on your eye, so the prescription needs measurements of your eye's surface and a fitting.
Do you fit contacts for astigmatism?
Yes. Toric soft lenses and specialty lenses can correct astigmatism.
Can I wear contacts if my eyes are dry?
Often, yes, with the right lens material and care routine. Dr. Alam will suggest options.
How long does a fitting take?
Usually part of your exam visit. New wearers should plan extra time for training.
