Questions
I see fine. Do I still need to be checked?
Yes. Glaucoma and diabetic eye disease often have no early symptoms, so an exam is the way to catch them.
How often should I be screened?
It depends on your age, health and family history. Dr. Alam will suggest a schedule that fits you.
I have diabetes. How often should I have my eyes checked?
Most people with diabetes need a dilated eye exam at least once a year.
